  • Cash on delivery service (COD): using this service, the shippers opt for the goods` price to Tipax carriers on delivery, the payment will then be forwarded to the client's bank account; the service is only possible if the recipient accepts the package.
  • Terms of service:
    • To receive the COD service, in cases where the client's orders are 300 packages per month or fewer, the shipper can receive its own QR code by providing the necessary documents and entering into a contract with Tipax. In such cases, a username and password will be provided to the client whereby they can view their financial transactions online, accessible through the E-Tipax section on Tipax's website.
    • In cases where the client's orders cross 300 packages per month, the shipper must contact the sales department extension at (+98) 02141036000 and provide the necessary documents in order to sign the contract and receive their own QR code. Thus, the shipper will be provided with a username and password whereby they can view their financial transactions online, accessible through the e-Tipax section on Tipax's website.
    • When using their QR code, the shipper must determine the COD amount to be asked of the recipient. It should be noted that the damage compensation service is independent of this service, and in order to receive compensation, the client must also provide the package's estimated value: further, the estimated value must be equal to or more than the COD amount.
    • The COD service involves the payment of the COD amount by the recipient to the Tipax carrier.
  • Required documents to receive the COD service:
    • Natural person clients: national identification number, shipper's full name, address, postal code, ISBN, and the filling out and signing of the contract at a Tipax branch office.
    • Juridical person clients: company's name, national license number, scanned files of the authorized signatories` national ID, telephone number, the latest official newspaper, address, postal code, telephone number, ISBN, and filling out and signing the contract.
  • Time deliveries and rates for the COD service:
    • The designated COD amount will be refunded to the shipper's bank account within ten days of recovering the package.
    • Tipax's commission for its COD service equals 2000 tomans per package for intercity deliveries made in Tehran and 1% of the total COD amount for all other routes. The commission will be deducted from the package's total COD price before payment.
  • Delay notification channels for the service:
  • In case of any delays in the COD payment process, the client will be notified of the matter via SMS or phone. Tipax will do its best to resolve any issues and fulfill its duties.
  • COD service restrictions:
  • Tipax is unable to provide its COD services in the following cases:

    • Items outlawed and banned by the Islamic Republic of Iran Law or declared impermissible for delivery by Tipax.
    • In case of any unforeseeable natural disasters or any other events that are considered force majeure, such events must:
      • Be inevitable.
      • Unforeseeable.
      • Have external causes (earthquake, flooding, war, riots, etc.,).
  • Support:
  • In case of any problems or difficulties, the clients of the two categories have the following channels at their disposal to resolve their issues:

    • Those COD clients with fewer than 300 packages per month can phone (+98) 0218457
    • Those COD clients with more than 300 packages per month can phone (+98) 0218457 or (+98) 02141036000 sales department extension.

  • Terms and conditions for any changes in the service-level agreement and requesting a new service:
  • In cases where the customer wants to make a change to or use a new feature in this service, they must submit their request via the request a new service section on the Tipax website; their request will be viewed shortly.

  • Question:
  • Is it possible to benefit from this service by case?
  • Answer:
  • Yes. There is no need to sign any contract. It is possible just by coordination the case with agent and/or central office and/or applying of TIPAX applications.

  • Whether all agents in other cities provide such a service?

  • Yes. All agents are obliged to provide such a service.
